Our KidStart Program
Our services are offered at Groveland Station Road in Mt. Morris. We also provide home and community-based services based on the child’s specific needs.
- Early Intervention: Children engage in activities where they receive help from certified special education teachers and licensed therapists.
- Head Start: We provide preschool children and their families activities to assist in all areas of growth and education.
- Special Services Preschool Program: We provide screening and evaluation, special education, speech, occupational and physical therapy, counseling and referrals. Certified special education professionals and licensed therapists in this program accommodate each child’s unique needs.
- Evaluation Services: Our state-approved evaluation center delivers a comprehensive appraisal and written analysis of your child’s abilities and needs.
Our experienced staff is licensed and certified to assist with your child’s needs. Each team member is continually trained on child development and early childhood curriculum with the information and skills necessary to implement education trends and regulations. Training and practice keep pace with new medical findings, innovative collaborations and shifts in regulations.
Testimonial From a Parent
“Patient. Kind. Attentive. Words that describe KidStart. Our son, Luke, has attended KidStart for two years and he has blossomed into such an amazing little boy. They have given him the confidence to do and try new things. They understand him and work with him so that he can be the best version of himself. KidStart has made such a difference in our lives and we will be forever grateful for them.” — Cassie Widener and Family
Head Start Program
Head Start programs promote the school readiness of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children from low-income families. Services are provided in a variety of settings including centers, family child care, and the children’s own home. Head Start programs also engage parents or other key family members in positive and goal-oriented relationships. Parents participate in leadership roles, including governance of program operations.
