Arc GLOW provides the support necessary to help people with disabilities continue their education. One of the many ways we help individuals achieve this is through our LIVES Program. LIVES is a four-year transition program at the State University of New York College at Geneseo that enables students with intellectual and other developmental disabilities to participate in an immersive college experience.
Staff will use career and academic skill assessments to develop a plan of study for students. After finishing their individually designed final project, students will receive a certificate of completion and an assessment of their progress. Students who participate in the LIVES Program gain valuable skills to help them live a more satisfying and independent life.
LIVES students must meet eligibility criteria for the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and must complete an application and interview process.
Find additional information and detailed admission requirements on SUNY Geneseo’s website.
